Wake Correctional Center

Wake Correctional Center in Raleigh is a minimum security prison for adult males.

It is primarily a work unit where most offenders leave the facility each day for work assignments outside the prison in the Wake County area.   Some offenders are on work release with private employers and others have work assignments with state or local government agencies in and around Raleigh.
