The NCDAC Office of Partnerships and Outreach advances the agency’s mission by developing strategic partnerships, strengthening internal and external engagement, expanding community connections, and advancing positive outcomes through data-driven strategies. The office collaborates across NCDAC and with external stakeholders to identify opportunities, build sustainable relationships, and enhance the agency’s ability to deliver effective, evidence-based programs and services.
At the heart of the office’s work is the Hope and 2nd Chances Campaign, a statewide initiative focused on rehabilitation, prevention and building stronger communities through hope. The campaign takes a holistic approach by bringing together community partners, expanding outreach, supporting grant-funded initiatives, and creating meaningful opportunities for engagement. Guided by the Science of Hope, the campaign uses an evidence-based, measurable framework to shape its strategies and evaluate its impact. Together, these efforts strengthen public trust, expand opportunities for success, and help position NCDAC as a leader in the corrections field while fostering a more innovative, resilient, and future-focused agency prepared to meet evolving needs.
