Prison System Air Conditioning Upgrades

The NC General Assembly appropriated $30M to begin design and installation of air conditioning at 40 state prisons that lack cooling systems, either partially or entirely. This complex project, which involves approximately 148 buildings, will provide safer and healthier environments for offenders.
