Local Reentry Councils

NC Local Reentry Councils 

There are currently 20 state-funded local reentry councils serving 26 counties. As many as 31 LRCs were at work in 2025, but lack of funding caused some councils to cease operations, while others reduced or redirected services. NCDAC continues to seek funding to support local reentry councils and their critical work in connecting people with resources during and after release from prison.
