WHAT: The meeting of the Joint Reentry Council, established by Gov. Roy Cooper under Executive Order 303, issued Jan. 29, which directs all State Cabinet agencies to coordinate efforts in improving rehabilitation and reentry of offenders returning to their communities after incarceration.

10:15 — Strategic Planning Update: George Pettigrew, Deputy Secretary, NCDAC Division of Rehabilitation and Reentry; Ziev Dalsheim-Kahane, Policy Advisor, Office of the Governor.

10:30 — Medicaid Expansion Overview: Mary Grillo, Director of Social Work Services, N.C. Department of Adult Correction; Melanie Bush, Deputy Medicaid Director, N.C. Department of Health and Human Services.
