Saturday, August 1, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.


Where:

Multiple sites on Fort Bragg, meet up at Stryker Golf Course, Bldg. K-1219 Bragg Blvd. (between Knox Street & Gruber Road).

Special Instructions:

Media organizations should arrive at Stryker Golf Course by 9:00 a.m. in order to meet with Public Affairs Officer. Media escort onto Fort Bragg is required.


National Guard Conducts Carolina Thunder 2015


FAYETTEVILLE

– Operation Carolina Thunder is a combined joint exercise and includes units from the Army and Air National Guard as well as Active Duty Army units stationed at Fort Bragg. The exercise is a complex air and ground collective event which will prepare the units involved to respond to potential large scale, force on force conflict while sustaining the ability to combat counter insurgency conflicts, this training will be conducted at Fort Bragg at 9 a.m. on August 1.
