Nearly every week, the 2,000 probation/parole officers of DAC’s Community Supervision conduct field operations and spot-checks to make sure people under supervision are abiding by their conditions.

Officials with the Department of Adult Correction have promoted three Community Supervision managers to the positions of Judicial District Managers (JDM) in Judicial Divisions I and II which cover 53 counties in central and Eastern North Carolina.

Congratulations to North Carolina's newest group of Probation/Parole Officers. The twenty officers from Class 6 for 2024 completed their seven-week basic training at the North Carolina Justice Center in Salemburg.

The NC Department of Adult Correction recognized outstanding Division of Community Supervision employees on July 10 in a celebration at the McKimmon Center at North Carolina State University.

Officials with the Department of Adult Correction have promoted Jamie Williamson to the position of Judicial District Manager (JDM) in Judicial District 13 which covers Bladen, Brunswick and Columbus counties within Judicial Division 2.
