The offender was participating in the Extending the Limits of Confinement (ELC) initiative.
An offender participating in Extending the Limits of Confinement (ELC) who absconded from her approved residence in Burlington recently has been located. Kimberly Jones (#0217004) was serving active sentences for Larceny over $1,000 and Felony Breaking and Entering. She had a projected release date of Oct. 7, 2021.

The Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice has named Tom Brickhouse as the new warden of the Pasquotank Correctional Institution in Elizabeth City. Brickhouse, 49, had been the warden at Hyde Correctional in Swan Quarter since 2019.
