Officials with the NC Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC) have promoted John “Jay” Craft to the position of Judicial District Manager (JDM) in Judicial District 8, effective Aug. 31.In his new position, Craft will oversee Community Supervision operations in Greene, Lenoir and Wayne counties. District 8 includes 69 probation/parole officers and staff who supervise more than 2,300 individuals sentenced to probation, parole or post-release supervision.
