Escapee Roy Burgess (#0900200) was captured this morning by agents from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and deputies from the York County Sheriff's Office in York County, SC.
Corrections and law enforcement officers are searching for Roy Burgess (#0900200) who escaped this afternoon from Lincoln Correctional Center, a minimum-security prison in Lincolnton.
Tyrus Sanders was found unresponsive in his cell Friday night.
Officials with the NC Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC) have promoted Ed Hummel to the position of Judicial District Manager (JDM) in Judicial District 25, effective Nov. 17.
