The Clinical Support Services team provides operations, data management, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure that patient care is consistent, accountable, and aligned with best practices.
The staff supports all health services professionals and makes sure contracted services are fully compliant and provide the best value.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Business Operations
The Business Operations unit manages the financial and administrative responsibilities of healthcare delivery. Responsibilities include budgeting, contract oversight, procurement, and resource management. The team also supports staffing, vendor coordination, and reporting activities.
Health Informatics (Electronic Health Records/Medical Records)
Health Informatics oversees electronic health record system, known as HERO (Health Electronic Records Online) for accurate, timely documentation of all healthcare services and continuity of care. The unit also manages medical records, data integrity, reporting, and system training for healthcare staff statewide.
Quality Services
The Quality Services team conducts audits, evaluates compliance with state and federal standards, and supports Continuous Quality Improvement programs. The team analyzes trends, reviews incidents, and collaborates with leadership to make improvements that enhance safety, effectiveness, and efficiency of patient care.
