N.C. Correctional Institution for Women will launch 19 offenders on a journey to become college-educated peer counselors and spiritual guides.
The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction has recognized Warden David Millis of Craven Correctional Institution as its warden of the year, and its nominee for warden of the year honors from the North American Association of Wardens and Superintendents.
Officials with the Division of Community Supervision have promoted Shawn Owens to Assistant Division Administrator in Judicial Division 3, effective Jan. 22, 2024.
